1. Purpose
These Terms of Use govern the use of the online booking portal made available by the independent rental operator running this service through the LocaPro platform.
2. Access to the service
The portal is accessible to any user with an internet connection. No account creation is required to make a booking. The user undertakes to provide accurate and up-to-date information when booking.
3. Booking process
The booking is initiated by the customer on the portal and remains “pending” until the operator validates it. The operator has 10 hours to confirm or decline the request, and receives reminders 5 hours and 1 hour before the deadline. Without a response within this period, the request is automatically declined and the slot released; if the rental has already been paid, the full amount is refunded.
4. Rental payment
The rental price is paid online, in full, through a licensed payment service provider. No banking data passes through or is stored on LocaPro servers. The security deposit is not collected online: it is taken directly by the operator at key handover, under the terms they communicate to you. Its amount is shown to you before booking.
5. Cancellation
Cancellation and refund terms are defined by each operator independently. They are communicated to you before your booking is validated.
6. Required documents
The operator may require documents (driver's licence, ID, proof of address, etc.) before handing over the vehicle. The absence of valid documents may result in the rental being refused without a refund of the deposit.
7. Liability
LocaPro is a management tool made available to independent rental operators. LocaPro is not a party to the rental contract concluded between the operator and the customer. Any complaint relating to the rental terms must be addressed directly to the operator concerned.

9. Governing law
These Terms of Use are governed by French law. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
